Musei, biblioteche e archivi online: il servizio MICHAEL e altre iniziative internazionali
Organizzato dal Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali - Dipartimento per la ricerca l'innovazione e l'organizzazione, in cooperazione con la Commissione Europea, il Ministero per la funzione pubblica e l'innovazione e la Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, la conferenza si articola in quattro sessioni e una tavola rotonda:
- I Accesso alla cultura online: lo spazio informativo culturale europeo I maggiori decision makers in ambito culturale presentano lo stato dell'arte e i piani per i futuri sviluppi verso uno spazio informativo culturale europeo comune.
- II Utenti, contenuti e servizi: viene presentato il portale europeo MICHAEL, secondo le politiche culturali degli Stati membri dell'Unione Europea
- III La cultura per il turismo. La digitalizzazione del patrimonio culturale viene considerata uno strumento sempre piu' importante per lo sviluppo del turismo. Viene analizzato in questo ambito il ruolo potenziale di MICHAEL.
- IV Il patrimonio culturale digitale nel mondo. La sessione presenta alcune importanti iniziative presentate al di fuori dell'Unione Europea, dimostrando un approccio comune a MICHAEL e alla Unione Europea in questo settore
